1. Aluminum Profile Metallurgy & Design

The selection of the aluminum alloy determines the tensile strength and overall lifespan of the window frame. For structural glazing, we utilize 6063-T5 or 6063-T6 aluminum-silicon-magnesium alloys. T6 temper profiles undergo artificial aging to reach higher yield strengths, ideal for high-rise buildings and storefront systems exposed to high wind loads.

Our modern window designs utilize multi-chamber profiles. These chambers reduce thermal transmission and house custom EPDM gaskets, forming three barrier layers to seal out dust, noise, and rainwater.

2. Glazing Integration & Performance

Window performance is heavily dependent on the glass. We integrate insulated glass units (IGUs), laminated safety glass, SGP structural glass, and fire-resistant glass into our aluminum frames based on project requirements.

By applying Low-E coatings to the glass surface, we reflect infrared heat while letting natural visible light pass through. In colder climates, double or triple glass configurations filled with dry Argon gas help achieve U-factors below 1.2 W/m²K, which helps lower HVAC heating costs.
