Seychelles resorts face constant threats from saline mist. Conventional single-sealed insulating glass quickly fails, leading to internal condensation. We implement a state-of-the-art dual-seal system featuring a primary Polyisobutylene (PIB) seal to block moisture transmission and a secondary high-strength structural silicone seal that resists UV degradation and salt spray erosion.
Our glass incorporates off-line magnetron sputtered Low-E coating layers. This micro-thin silver-based layer acts as a selective filter: it allows high Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) so spaces feel bright, while blocking up to 85% of infrared energy (heat) and 99% of harmful UV rays. This greatly lowers indoor solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) values.
By default, our insulated glass units are filled with 90% dry Argon gas. Because Argon is heavier and denser than regular air, it drastically slows down heat conduction between the outer glass pane and the inner glass pane. This configuration helps achieve exceptionally low U-values, ideal for minimizing cooling costs in tropical offices.
